Teacher and School Staff Training

Research has suggested that with the rapidly increasing number of pupils with with autism in both the mainstream and specialist school sectors, teachers require and desire more information, training and support in meeting the needs of their pupils with autism. When school staff have autism-specific training, they are better equipped to adjust the curriculum presentation, social opportunities and school environment so that their pupils with autism can succeed.
Our experienced training team can provide custom-designed training courses to school staff that enhances their ability to support their pupils with autism. Our training courses can vary in length, depending upon your individual needs. Beginning with our introductory Autism Awareness Training, our courses are both theoretical and practical, with an emphasis on active, competency-based learning, based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis.
